What Families Say About Pirate
My boys had an absolute blast meeting a “real pirate” and interacting with her following our public library’s story time! During the library’s event, she did an excellent job reading two age-appropriate pirate picture books in a pirate’s accent, seamlessly responding to comments posted live as she read, and asking the kids questions that kept it entertaining, active, and fun! Following the story time we got to have a personal video chat call with her and my kids were elated! She asked them questions, responded perfectly to their wacky conversation topics, all while remaining in character and focused on their joy. Jessica is truly a talented character actor and is very good at what she does, not to mention the costumes are top notch! We will continue to log on to see her at the library’s story time or even hire her for upcoming virtual birthday parties! During a pandemic it’s a challenge to find fun for kids during the week or a way to make a party special, but with “parties with character” the fun and special are done for you! I highly recommend it!
We joined a virtual storytime that was offered through our local library and it was amazing! It was a pirate theme and my daughter loved it. She was so engaged and asked tons of questions in the chat bar and she was over the moon when she heard her name and a response to what she said. Following the live, we had a video chat and it was even better! They did a little scavenger hunt and my daughter turned it over and gave her things to hunt! She went to bed grinning from ear to ear. I absolutely recommend Parties with Character! 5 stars for sure! You won't be disappointed!
My daughter, Sienna, saw her at the Deerfield library when she came as a pirate. She was subsequently a pirate for Halloween because she just thought she was the coolest person ever. She also saw her as Mirabel and was in awe. Her 5th birthday is coming up and she asked me if I could ask the library to put me in touch with Elsa. We know she will make it so special!
